North Seattle Home School: In-Home Dog Day Training

Every new client starts with a 60-minute virtual consultation so we can understand your dog and set clear goals together. From there, a typical week looks like this:

• I visit your home and work one-on-one with your dog in short, focused sessions.

• We meet once a week so I can show you what your dog has learned and how to maintain it.

• You get written notes after each week, plus optional video updates, so you can see the progress.

The goal is a dog who has real skills and an owner who feels confident.

What’s Included:

​

• 3 in-home training sessions per week (30 minutes each), one-on-one with your dog

• 1 weekly virtual coaching session with you (30 minutes) to transfer the skills

• Written training notes after each week

• Optional video updates from training sessions

• Support by email or text between sessions

Skills We Can Work On:

​

• Everyday manners like sit, down, stay, and recall

• Greeting guests calmly

• Crate and mat training

• Loose leash walking

• Household manners, such as staying off counters and waiting politely at doorways

Who It's Best For:

​

This program fits people with busy schedules who want professional help laying the groundwork, plus clear coaching on how to reinforce and maintain the behaviors over time. If you'd rather be hands-on and learn every step yourself, private Life Skills Coaching may be the better starting point.

North Seattle Home School is available to clients within my in-home service area. To keep training consistent and limit commute time between sessions, I focus on a select group of North Seattle neighborhoods.

Pricing 

New clients begin with a short application, then a paid consultation. If we decide North Seattle Home School is a good fit, your consultation fee is credited toward your first month.

​

If a coaching package, an online class, or another service would suit your dog better, we'll talk through your options at the consultation. The consultation fee is credited toward North Seattle Home School only. It does not carry over to coaching packages, classes, or other services.

​

Foundational Package, Month One: $1,200 Your consultation fee is credited toward this first month. It builds a strong foundation and helps your dog develop real-life skills through consistent, focused training.

​

Ongoing support after month one:

​

• Monthly Plan, $1,000 per month (4 weeks): Same format, 3 visits plus 1 transfer session per week, with flexible scheduling based on your goals and your dog's progress. Great for continued skill-building or more complex behavior needs.

• Weekly Plan, $275 per week: Same format, 3 visits plus 1 transfer session, weekdays only, with flexible scheduling.

• Custom Maintenance Plans: If your dog is thriving and you'd like to scale back while staying on track, we can build a lighter support plan that fits your needs.

2. If your home is in my service area and the program looks like a fit, you'll book a paid 60-minute consultation.

3. If we decide to move forward, your consultation fee is credited toward your first month.
